Parental Consent
Because EEClub is designed for children, we need a parent to say yes on their child's behalf.

Why we need your consent
Children cannot legally agree to how their personal data is used. In India, under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 (DPDP), a service used by a child must have verifiable consent from a parent or legal guardian. Similar rules exist in other places. That's why only a parent can create an EEClub account — not the child.
What you are agreeing to
By creating an EEClub account and enabling a child profile, you agree that:
- You are the parent or legal guardian of the child using EEClub, and you are at least 18 years old.
- Your child can use EEClub with your supervision.
- EEClub can collect and process the data described in the Privacy Policy, including short voice recordings, in order to run daily lessons.
- EEClub can send Mithu's AI responses (voice and text) to your child during lessons.
- You have explained to your child, in simple words, that they will be talking to a friendly AI parrot — not a real person.
What you are NOT agreeing to
- Advertising to your child.
- Sharing your child's voice or data with third parties for marketing.
- Any contact between your child and strangers on the internet.
How to withdraw consent
You can withdraw consent at any time. When you do:
- Your child's profile will be deactivated.
- You can request deletion of stored data and voice recordings.
- You will no longer be billed (once billing is introduced).
To withdraw consent, email privacy@eeclub.app from the address on your account, or use the Contact page. We aim to action withdrawal requests within 7 working days.
Talking to your child about Mithu
Mithu is a friendly AI parrot, not a real person. We recommend telling your child, in your own words, something like:
- "Mithu is a computer friend that helps you practise English."
- "Never tell Mithu your address, phone number or where your school is."
- "If Mithu ever says something that feels weird, come and tell me."
